An underling,
the basest of the base,
crawling through marshes made murky by madness.

Your eyes send arms,
trying to pull
me back. Blinded brain
inexplicably ignores eager embrace,
like a baby spitting out sustenance.

Show clemency toward
this ingrate,
unwitting serpent,
bleeding stone.

Drowning, undesigned
in self pity,
no air
no breath
no life.
