Compelled by vice of significant lies,
collusion of rich, powerful bastards,
narcissistic truth withheld.

Murky rationale, creating thoughtlessness,
fear the weapon of choice
through repetitive, incessant verbal shuffle.

Rumors of aspersions, aggression, attacks
sunder rationality from sanity,
penetrate perception by potential of war.

In adamant defense of coerced conclusions,
fiercely fighting, losing mind, body
until vile viciousness becomes a virtue.

Shhhh.

Quiet.

They’re returning.

In battened boxes.
