Tonight,
seven o’clock
is like darkness without stars,
indescribably direful.
Last night,
six-thirty portrayed terrorism.
Harmful intoxication,
cruel crucifixion,
murderous words
.
Slam!
Demanding food.
Interrogation to what purpose?
Clamorous,
insistent badgering
for which all responses
are unsatisfactory,
for which all words invoke
painful presumptive punishment.
Tonight,
seven o’clock
is like stars among darkness.
Suffering stops.
Hell ends.
