Four Candles
Room strobes into silence.
Inquiry quickly answered
by the stroke of a hand,
gently kissed lips.
Hearts whisper words with rapidity,
giving birth to ardent desire.
Ardent desire grows.
Love, again, becomes
a stage for passion,
flames surrounding fire.
Breeze of exhaustion extinguishes
little lights.
Star of endearment ensures eternity.
