I Died Last Night
Images of our oneness
conquer my mind.
The sweetness of your skin
lingers upon my lips,
like a word whispered,
soft silk,
fiery summer,
warm rain,
an unyielding embrace,
touching truth.
Last night,
you melded with darkness,
became vaporization of light.
I could only sleep
with your vision.
