Poor People Cried Again
Now, really, who was that Archduke they shot?
Was he worth having men insanely die?
Did people at that time believe that lie,
or were they told the truth about their lot?
After a while, it seems they forgot
that money hungry greed was really why
we finally had some hate where we could fly
and cause new ways to make hell's fire hot.
On one side of the field, some madmen lined
and there were some lined on the other side.
Rose-clad, thrilled, leader by leader, did wind
all of his wind up toys, while through his pride
escaped the warped words born inside his mind.
Through this bullshit, too many people cried.
