By now, our body’s passion has become
as hot as Texas’ burning summer’s sun.
Unstable, now, becomes surrounding air,
one day it’s hot, the next day it is cold.
An angry, howling wind may cause a scare
or outright blow as if it’s uncontrolled
and take away a living or a life.
The ebbs and flows which we’ve this year sustained
prove beyond a doubt you’ll be my wife.
This airy dream will no more be detained.
One day it’s cold, the next day it is hot.
The random, whistling winds are volatile.
The summer’s heat is heat we’ve not forgot,
I feel it inside when I see you smile.
But through your smile, some sadness can be seen.
Could this be the place where we once had been?
