The Corporacracy - Part Two

Don’t look now,
but they’re keeping it from us.
We could use it,
but might abuse it,
so they refuse it.

They own the rights
to everything and everyone.
And they’ll keep them
and they’ll reap them
and then estrepe them.

They are all and all are they.
Our toils are their spoils.
They have learned it,
think they’ve earned it
as they’ve burned it.

Their expiration is assured,
for they play for today,
first giving pay,
then make us prey
to caste away.
