The Disease
He shakes and makes unruly moves.
He knows no place where he has been
or where he’s going to again.
She forgot, can not recall names.
She wanders and she must be found.
She shouldn’t go far from the ground.
He sways in ways atypical.
She thinks, but can’t express her mind
because it’s the eccentric kind.
Once they sang and sprang with style,
leading lives they lost to age
and, now, unstable, disengage.
